Looking for a rewarding artistic experience? Audition for critically acclaimed vocal ensemble SCHOLA CANTORUM ON HUDSON!
The SCHOLA REPERTORY SINGERS is a select group drawn from SCH that performs more intimate works from the Baroque to modern periods.
Rehearsals for SCH and SRS are held on Monday evenings throughout the concert season. During performance weeks, there are one or two additional rehearsals.
All singers volunteer their time and are selected by audition. Requisites for auditioning include previous choral experience, music-reading ability and a good natural voice. We hold auditions primarily during the summer months, and we maintain a waiting list.

Audition Requirements
- A classical solo: oratorio aria or art-song preferred (bring an extra score for the accompanist)
- Scales (major, minor, chromatic and whole-tone)
- Pitch memory drills
- Intervals
- Sight-reading
